Current Responsibilities - Andrew Zelman serves as Executive Vice President of Investments for CARROLL. In this role, Andrew is responsible for sourcing and executing new acquisition opportunities. He works closely with senior management to define investment strategy and directs the process of each acquisition, including developing the business plan and structuring financing. Andrew is also responsible for managing the disposition process in collaboration with the asset management, operations, and accounting teams. Andrew has acquired, sold and recapitalized over $8 billion (175 transactions; 55,000+ apartment units) since joining CARROLL in 2015.

Relevant Experience - Andrew brings a diverse background and skill set with institutional experience in acquisitions, dispositions, asset management and brokerage to his role. Prior to joining CARROLL, he was responsible for executing new acquisitions for Jamestown Properties. During his time at Jamestown, he completed transactions totaling over $1.0 billion in volume. He also served as an Asset Manager during the transition period following acquisition of a 1.3 million square foot Boston Seaport office property. Before Jamestown, Andrew was part of the Investment Sales Team at Holliday Fenoglio Fowler and an Acquisitions Analyst at Berkshire Property Advisors, where he was focused on underwriting, due diligence, and deal execution for multi-family properties.

Education/Affiliations - Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Georgia. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, as well as the Association of Young Real Estate Professionals.

Interests - Andrew is an avid sports fan with a passion for Atlanta sports teams, as well as his alma mater, the University of Georgia. He is a proud husband to his wife, Meg, and father to his two sons, Henry and Luke.
