AL MCCALLIE
DIRECTOR | CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
Al McCallie serves as Director of Construction Management for Carroll Organization. In this role, he is responsible for the Project Management Team and all Construction and Capital Improvement Projects within the portfolio. The portfolio consists of 59 apartment communities totaling 22,000 units. Al oversees Project Managers in Florida and Georgia, construction activities, property condition assessments, and value add improvements.
Al has over 27 years in the multifamily management industry, previously holding the position as Project Manager with Vista Realty Partners prior to joining Carroll Organization. He has extensive experience in all facets of construction, including due diligence inspections, budget preparation, developing scopes of work and specifications for all phases of re-development for both garden and high rise communities. He is versed in contract procedure for all types of projects and his re-development experience includes a wide variety of projects throughout the Southeast including a $40 million rehab in Georgia. He has vast experience in quality assurance with new construction and has developed and monitored preventive maintenance programs.
Al’s technical skills include Refrigeration, Heat Pump Electrical, CFC Proctor, high-rise building central plant and energy management Systems. Al attended Calhoun Community College and Jacksonville State University Business. He is married with one son and resides in Atlanta.
