MELANIE BRASHER

Melanie Brasher serves as the Vice President of People for Carroll Organization. She believes that people are one of Carroll’s most valuable assets and strives to ensure that our people are growing, developing and thriving in their careers. Melanie oversees strategy, management and all day to day employee activities. As Carroll grows, she looks to enable our thriving culture through people and enhancing value.
Melanie Brasher is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over twenty years HR and recruiting experience in professional services organizations. She has experience building and leading HR and recruiting teams and partners with business leaders to ensure the people strategy aligns with the overall business strategy. Her expertise includes the oversight and management of all HR operations including recruiting, performance management, career development, compensation, benefits and talent management. Melanie is passionate about helping people grow, develop and progress in their careers.

Prior to joining Carroll Organization, Melanie was the HR Director at Midtown Consulting Group. In this role, Melanie worked with the MCG Leadership Team to stand up an HR organization. She established several strategic talent programs to improve the ability to attract and retain talent. Melanie also established a systematic process using technology that improved the core people operations function for the company. The combined strategic and operational alignment with the business improved operational performance and presence in the talent market. Prior to joining MCG, Melanie spent 24 years at Accenture based in the Atlanta Office where she started as a Systems Integration and Change Management consultant transitioning into a twenty-year career in HR where she held many HR leader roles.
Mrs. Brasher received a BA in business and computer science from LaGrange College. She received her MBA from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. Melanie has been an active volunteer in her community and is currently a member of the UGA Terry College of Business Alumni Board and actively mentors undergraduate students.
